Nottinghamshire law firm Hopkins Solicitors has launched a new Mediation service called 'Notts Mediation'. The service will offer both Civil and Family Mediation and will be based at the firm's Eden Court office in Mansfield and their Regent Street office in Nottingham.
The service was launched following the recent family law rule changes that have taken place, which state (in appropriate cases) parties should first try and resolve their dispute through Mediation rather than the Court system.
Notts Mediation was set up by David Winnett and Pat Wright at Hopkins. The pair are both qualified Mediators with David specialising in Family Mediation and Pat, Civil Mediation . Between them, they are able to deal with a wide range of disputes, from family cases and Will disputes, to commercial matters such as debt collection.
They say " We are firm believers in the benefits of Mediation, it is a forward thinking and cost effective method of resolving disputes and an alternative to stressful, costly and drawn out Court proceedings."
