Nottinghamshire law firm Hopkins Solicitors have raised over £4000 for charity by taking part in Will Aid in November 2011, this has made Hopkins one of the top donating firms nationwide.
Will Aid runs each year in the month of November, participating law firms waive their fee for making a Will, and instead ask their clients to donate the money to Will Aid. The scheme helps nine UK based charities including Age UK, The British Red Cross and the NSPCC. This is the fifth year that Hopkins has taken part and they’ve raised just under £10,000 in total.
Andrew Stevenson, head of the Hopkins’ Wills Department in Mansfield says “We regularly take part in Will Aid but to raise over £4000 for last year’s campaign is incredible, and just goes to show the generosity of local people." He adds "We’d like to say a big thank you to all our clients who have made us one of the top donating firms nationwide."
