Hopkins Solicitors are sponsoring this year's Mansfield and Ashfield Biz-ex fair, which is designed to help businesses, start, survive and thrive.
This year's key note speaker at the event is Saira Khan - star of 'The Apprentice' & founder of Miamoo - natural baby skincare products. Saira shot to fame in the first series of the Apprentice and has since taken the UK by storm. She was a regular columnist for the second series as well as being snapped up by the Daily Mirror where she was given her own column 'Saira Sorts it'.
The fair is also holding two workshops, the first shows you how to make the most of your marketing and advertising and following this there is one called 'Is it for me?'
The 'Is it for me?' workshop gives an overview of what is involved in running a business, the various types of businesses that exist and what organisations are available to help start a business. It helps individuals to decide what they want from a business and whether starting their own business is right for them.
Biz-ex is taking place on Wednesday 21 September 2011 at Mansfield Civic Centre 10am - 3pm and is FREE to attend as a visitor. You can come along for the duration of the day and attend all of the presentations or just pop in for however long suits you.
