Pat joined Hopkins in 1995 after her previous law firm merged with Hopkins. She is now a Partner and is based at our Nottingham city centre office.
She has a wide range of experience in the law. Her main area of expertise is with work of a litigious nature including:-
Commercial Litigation (including Debt Recovery, Insolvency, Commercial Disputes, Contract Disputes), Contentious Probate (including challenges to Wills, Inheritance Act Claims and other types of Equity Claims), Property related matters such as Landlord and Tenant matters (including Commercial Repossessions and recovery of rent arrears) and Land Dispute (including boundary and right of way disputes, adverse possession claims.
Dealing with contentious probates matters Pat has also developed her work into other areas of non-contentious work include preparation and drafting of Wills, and administration and winding up of Estates.
Pat is a qualified Mediator and holds the "Certificate of Training for Accredited Mediator" (2007),accredited by the Civil Mediation Council.
She also holds an Honours Degree in Business Studies and has worked within the legal profession for over thirty years.
