Rob joined Hopkins in 1993 and is a Partner based at our Eden Court office in Mansfield.
Rob specialises in Company/Commercial Law, advising businesses with regard to most aspects of commercial life. He deals with all sizes of businesses, including those with multi-million pound turnovers, including a large locally based national franchisor.
He is an experienced employment lawyer acting mostly for employers and senior executives and is head of our employment department.
Rob spends a lot of his time preparing specific commercial contracts. Therefore, he has regular day-to-day involvement with all the business affairs of our larger commercial clients.
He tries to adopt a down to earth and friendly style of communication. He regularly lectures small business start-ups on how to set up in business and how to protect themselves in the commercial world.
He also has experience in Charity Law and is the Treasurer of a local charity providing housing and support for homeless young people.
Outside of the law Rob enjoys playing outdoor sports, including mountaineering, skiing and golf. He is also a keen runner and annually participates in Nottingham's Robin Hood Half Marathon.
