Laila is a friendly, hardworking and enthusiastic Paralegal who is at the beginning of her legal career.
Laila joined Hopkins as a Paralegal following the completion of her Law Degree at Nottingham Trent University in 2026. Laila’s journey with Hopkins began during her final year at university when she completed work experience with the firm. This provided her with a valuable insight into working within a busy legal practice and gave her the opportunity to put the knowledge and skills gained throughout her degree into practice.
Laila currently works in the litigation and family departments. She particularly enjoys the variety of her role and the opportunity to learn from experienced colleagues. When asked why she chose a career in law, Laila said, “I have always enjoyed the combination of problem solving, communication and helping others, which made law a natural career for me.”

Outside of work, Laila enjoys spending time with family and friends. She has a particular passion for horse riding and enjoys being outdoors. She also enjoys reading, exploring new places and making the most of her free time with those closest to her.
