Auto enrolment, which began in October 2012 for the UK’s largest companies, is the biggest change to the UK pensions policy since the Second World War.
It will impact on every business. Employers will have to enrol their employees, contribute to a pension on their behalf and maintain records. Stringent penalties will apply for non compliance.
Free Seminar
Hopkins Solicitors, in partnership with Jamieson Christie Wealth Management, are hosting a free seminar, aimed at company directors, accountants and business owners, focusing on the key areas employers will need to address.
Seb Walker, Employment Law Solicitor, and Richard Cooper from Jamieson Christie, will be your hosts. Richard will discuss when auto enrolment comes into effect and what businesses need to be doing right now to in order to meet the various requirements and responsibilities. Seb will cover the Employment Law aspects of auto enrolment to make businesses aware of the regulation changes.
The seminar will be held at Jamieson Christie Wealth Management Ltd, Castle Gate, Nottingham NG1 7AQ, on Friday 29th November between 12pm and 2pm.
