There’s no time like the present – to enquire about a possible personal injury claim

If you have an injury or illness claim that you’ve been considering enquiring about… Be mindful that personal injury claims have time limits in which court proceedings must be issued.

In negligence claims this is usually 3 years from the date of the accident or date of diagnosis, exceptions to this are criminal injuries, accidents on board ships or flights which have a shorter time limit of 2 years. Claims for children have a longer time limit of 3 years from the child’s 18th Birthday regardless of when the accident or illness occurred.

The earlier the better is best to pursue a claim to allow thorough gathering of evidence from witnesses or documents to successfully pursue your claim.

There is no charge for your initial call and case assessment, so during this lockdown – while you are at home – it is a perfect time to contact a Solicitor and enquire about that injury or illness claim you’ve been thinking about.

Our experienced personal injury team are working from their home offices too, so they are happy to discuss your claim with you and are able to fully process new claims remotely during this lockdown period, there is no need to see you face-to-face. But it is nice to know that once the lockdown is lifted, you’ll have a friendly local face to speak to.
