To support our mission, we are seeking an IT Manager who will play a vital role in developing, maintaining, and servicing a cutting-edge case management system tailored for law firms. As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to work closely with legal professionals, ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Management: Lead and coordinate IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • System Development: Build and maintain a robust case management system tailored to the specific needs of law firms. Implement upgrades and improvements as necessary.
  • Techical Support: Working with our external IT consultants provide day-to-day IT support to our staff, resolving technical issues promptly and efficiently. Troubleshoot hardware and software problems.
  • Data Security: Implement and enforce IT security policies and protocols to safeguard sensitive client information and maintain data integrity.
  • Management: Liaise with external IT vendors and service providers to ensure the firm’s IT needs are met effectively and cost-efficiently.
  • Training: Train staff members on the use of IT systems and provide ongoing support as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Meticulous attention to detail and a experience of applying logic in workflows.
  • Strong technical skills with the ability to build and service a case management system.
  • Some knowledge of Microsoft Power Automate is desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with non-technical staff.
  • Prior experience in a legal environment is a plus, but not required.

Location: Mansfield Head Office

Salary: £26,000 circa

End date: 20/10/23

Reporting To: Supervising Partner

Working Hours: Full-time; Monday–Friday (inclusive) from 9.00am–5.00pm with an hour for lunch
