Litigation Legal Secretary/Paralegal
About the Role:
You will provide essential secretarial and administrative support to our solicitors and fee earners within the General Litigation team as well as assisting with case work. Your work will help ensure the smooth running of the department and the delivery of an efficient, high-quality service to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing and formatting correspondence, court documents, and legal forms
- Managing diaries, arranging appointments, and maintaining case files
- Handling telephone calls and client enquiries in a professional and helpful manner
- Digital dictation and audio typing
- Assisting with billing, file opening/closing, and other administrative duties
- Liaising with courts, clients, and third parties
- Preparing and drafting correspondence
- Conducting legal research and assisting with case preparation
- Assist with lunchtime and holiday cover on reception.
What is required from you:
- Previous experience as a legal secretary, ideally within litigation or a related area
- Excellent typing and IT skills (Microsoft Office, case management systems, digital dictation)
- Strong attention to detail and organisational ability
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Wondershare, and a familiarity with legal case management systems
- A positive attitude and willingness to support the team
- Professional, confident, and able to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues

Working Hours: Full-time (Monday to Friday) 8.30am – 5.00pm with 1 hour for lunch
