Office Apprentice – Business & Administration

The Role

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Office Apprentice to join our busy Nottingham City Centre office. This is an excellent opportunity for someone starting their career in business and administration who is eager to learn within a professional law firm environment. The successful candidate will work closely with our property team and wider administrative staff, gaining valuable experience while completing their Business Administration qualification.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting with general administrative tasks across the office
  • Supporting the property team with filing, scanning, photocopying, and document preparation
  • Handling incoming and outgoing post and organising files
  • Answering telephone calls and directing enquiries to the appropriate team member
  • Helping with diary organisation, appointments, and internal communication
  • Learning to prepare and update basic legal documents under supervision
  • Providing support to colleagues and contributing to the smooth running of the office

About You

  • A keen interest in starting a career in business and administration and/or the legal profession
  • Good communication skills and a willingness to learn
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to stay organised
  • Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
  • Friendly, reliable, and able to work well with others
  • Professional attitude and proactive approach to tasks
