Legal Receptionist / Typist
Hopkins Solicitors are looking for a friendly, organised and enthusiastic Legal Receptionist / Typist to join our welcoming team. This is a varied role where you’ll be the first point of contact for our clients, helping to make their experience with us a positive one, while also supporting our fee earners with typing and general office administration.
What the role involves:
- Greeting clients in person and on the phone with a warm, professional manner
- Answering calls, taking clear messages and directing enquiries to the right person
- Typing up legal documents and correspondence accurately and efficiently
- Providing general administrative support across the office
- Assisting with diary management, appointments and meeting arrangements
- Keeping the reception area neat, tidy and inviting
What we’re looking for:
- Someone with previous office or legal experience (legal secretarial/reception background is a bonus)
- Strong typing and IT skills, with good attention to detail
- A friendly, professional telephone manner and excellent people skills
- The ability to stay organised and manage a busy workload
- A team player with a positive, proactive attitude
- Experience in Family Law would be an advantage

Salary: £23,809.50 per annum

Reporting To: Head of Department
Working Hours: Full-Time Monday - Friday 8.30am – 5.00pm with 1 hour for lunch
