Solicitor or Legal Executive – Commercial Property
The Role
- A challenging and diverse role requiring an agile, self-motivated, organised and ambitious lawyer
- Dealing with initial enquiries and taking a case from enquiry to completion
- Non-contentious transactional and legal advice work
- A varied caseload built on direct client contact with the opportunity to build lasting client and referral relationships
- Advising business clients on commercial property issues
- Handling commercial property transactions such as sale, purchase, lease grant and assignment
- Handling business sales (asset purchase and share sale) transactions involving charities and pension schemes within a commercial context – prior experience of these is not essential and can be an area for development and progression
- There will be an element of networking and business development within the role as part of a close-knit supportive team with opportunities to benefit the firm as a whole through cross referral to other departments
- Providing practical advice and using commercial awareness to proactively solve problems
- Commercial department support – working within a team providing support to lawyers working on property elements of corporate transactions
- Opportunities to develop and enhance the systems and infrastructure within the team
- This role has significant career development prospects
The Requirements
The successful candidate must have experience in running their own caseload and have the experience and desire to help develop and expand the department.
Skills required:
- At least 1-5 years PQE
- Experience in non-contentious Commercial Property work
- IT competent – capable of running own caseload with appropriate secretarial support

Details
Location: Mansfield Head Office
Salary: Negotiable depending on experience
End date: 22/12/21
Reporting To: Supervising Partner
Working Hours: Full-time; Monday–Friday (inclusive) from 9.00am–5.00pm with an hour for lunch
