Hopkins offer support to local start up businesses at Mansfield event

Free advice day for budding entrepreneurs, supported by local professional services firms.

A group of local professional services firms are hosting a free business advice fair and workshops to help local start up businesses and entrepreneurs get the advice they need to start and grow their business. The organisations in attendance include:

  • Hopkins Solicitors
  • Stopford Associates
  • Invest Ashfield & Mansfield
  • Vision Entrepreneur
  • NBV
  • The Prince’s Trust
  • eBusiness Club
  • The Hive
  • NatWest

The event will take place at the Mansfield i-Centre on Hamilton Way, on Wednesday 11th June between 10-4pm.

The fair will allow local people to drop in any time during the day and have an informal chat with the business experts and find out more about what support is available to them. It will cover key areas such as business planning, commercial law, raising finance, finding premises, searching for grants, marketing and much more.

Alongside the advice fair, there will be a number of short workshops running throughout the day which focus on a specific area related to starting a business including how to develop a successful product idea, starting your business banking and the legal to do list in starting a business. As places are limited on the workshops, booking is required. To book your place call Stopfords on 01623 420 269 or email Robbie@stopfords.co.uk.
