Chris joined Hopkins Solicitors in December 2023 when Miles & Cash Solicitors were acquired by Hopkins. Chris studied at Nottingham Trent University and The College of Law in Guildford, and qualified in November 1982. He now has over 40 years’ experience in both private and public Family Law. He is a member of the Law Society’s Children Panel; and is on the Management Committee of Derby Child Contact Centre.
He works from our Derbyshire office, located in Heanor’s town centre.
His clients would describe him as easy going, straightforward and sometimes a bit blunt, but he’s always caring and trying to see the bigger picture.

I enjoy spending time with my children and grandchildren; watching football and spending time with friends. I grew up in Lincolnshire but now live in Nottingham with my wife, Deborah.
