Rachel Polley

Rachel’s clients describe her as approachable and caring and say she explains things in a way that they easily understand, helping make the legal process as straight forward and painless as possible.

She grew up near Oxfordshire, attended university in Staffordshire where she received a degree in Law and has for the last 24 years has lived in Huthwaite, Nottinghamshire. In 1996 she received her LPC from the University of Wales College Cardiff, and in 1999 she went on to complete her training contract and qualify as a solicitor.

Rachel has over 25 years’ experience working as a solicitor. She spent the first 6 years in personal injury coal mining claims, and for the last 19 years, she has worked in Wills & Probate specialising in lasting powers of attorney, deputyships and trusts as well as Will writing and administering estates.

When asked why she chose a career in law, and decided to specialise in Wills & Estate law, she said “In all honesty, I initially wanted to be a vet! But I really enjoyed studying law and decided I wanted to be a solicitor instead. I found that I truly enjoy helping people who are going through a bad time.“

In her spare time Rachel enjoys reading, going to the cinema and theatre, and travel, as well as walking with her rescue dog, Mango.
