Carl joined Hopkins in 2001 and is a Partner based in our Waverley Office in Mansfield Town Centre. He is Head of Dispute Resolution and also our Housing Legal Department and has a passion for court work and helping people resolve disputes/problems.
As a result of his very successful litigation career Carl has regularly appears in local media, with legal based articles appearing in the Mansfield Chad and on Mansfield 103.2 FM radio.
He has had a number of very successful and highly notable national cases in the Court of Appeal including Mansfield District Council v Langridge [2008] EWCA Civ 264 , Taylor v Spencer [2013] EWCA Civ 1600 and most recently in the Supreme Court of Appeal on July 2022 the case of Harper Trust vs Brazel.
