Michelle Saxton

Chartered Legal Executive

Michelle is down to earth, understanding and professional. Having herself gone through the divorce process, she understands the devastation it can cause, so she helps to smoothly guide her clients through the process with as little conflict as possible.

Michelle is a CILEX Chartered Legal Executive in our Private Law Family Team and is based from our newest office in Heanor, in South Derbyshire. She started working in law in 2004, and also spent 8 years working as a Custody Officer with the Nottinghamshire Police.

She is a member of Resolution and the Family Separation Support Hub. In addition she is a member of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, as her son was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes when he was only 8 years old, so it is a charity close to her heart.

She grew up in Hucknall, and spent a lot of time with her extended family in Heanor.

When we asked her why she chose a career in law, she said: “I enjoy helping people and achieving the best outcome for them.
