Tom Stendall

Director and Solicitor

A pro-active Company and Commercial Property Solicitor with an analytical brain that gives clear, thorough and practical advice.

Tom is originally from Mansfield and graduated from the University of Leeds with a Law Degree and started as a Paralegal at Hopkins in 2004. Tom continued his professional qualifications spending a year doing his LPC (Legal Practice Course) at Nottingham Law School. He then travelled to Sri Lanka for six weeks to help with the rebuilding of a coastal village affected by the Boxing Day tsunami, before coming back to Hopkins in 2006 to continue his career.

Tom qualified as a Solicitor in 2008 and was admitted as a Partner in 2017.

As a younger man, Tom attained the Gold Duke of Edinburgh’s Award which involved him undertaking, amongst other things, hiking expeditions and voluntary work.

Tom still enjoys the outdoors, particularly walking in the Peak District with his family. Tom has two children who are members of a local Cathedral Choir.

Hobbies

I enjoy spending time with my wife and two small children who take up the majority of my spare time, but I also enjoy motoring, current affairs, finance and nature and the outdoors.
